Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy describes how Pest Shield (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use our website or call our referral line. It applies to the site and to the details you share with us when seeking a connection to a local pest-control provider.
1. Information we collect
When you call or otherwise reach out, we collect what you choose to share with us, such as your name, phone number, email address, service address, and a description of your pest-control needs.
When you browse the site, we may also collect:
- Device, browser, and approximate location details
- Pages viewed, links selected, and the site that sent you here
- Call details such as date, time, and duration, and call recordings where permitted by law
- Cookies and similar technologies that keep the site operating and help us understand traffic
2. How we use information
We use the information we hold to respond to your request, pass it along to an independent provider that may be able to help in your area, operate and improve the website, monitor service quality, prevent misuse, comply with the law, and follow up about your request.
3. How we share information
We may share information with independent pest-control providers that may be able to respond to your request, with vendors that support our phone lines, website, and analytics, and with government authorities or other parties where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect rights and safety. We are not a pest-control company and do not perform field services ourselves.
4. Cookies and analytics
The site may use cookies and similar tools to keep things working, remember preferences, and understand overall traffic. Your browser settings can usually block or remove cookies, though some features may not behave as intended if you do.
5. Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, or as required for legal, accounting, or operational reasons. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no website or phone system can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion where the law allows, and decline nonessential communications. Which rights you have depends on where you live, and some requests may be subject to legal exceptions.
7. Children’s privacy
This service is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we will delete any we learn of.
8. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy from time to time. The date shown at the top of this page tells you which version is currently in effect.
